www.toassoft.net is the URL for the mudd. To get a client there are a couple different sound packs out there, but the main one is on liam's website. At the moment though the address escapes me.

nah. that's not very nice to say. there are plenty of people who gleam much enjoyment from the game.
*nods* And you can do what I've been known to do a time or 2, wehn you get bored with it, go find something else for a while. I'll say this for Miriani. I sometimes get annoyed with things there, but it's the only game I've actually stuck with and come back to for more than a couple months.
I'd have to agree. everything else I've played has gotten old really quicly. hell, godwars, all them. Miriani is about the only thing that I can set down for a while and then come back to. It's been fun starting fresh and doing everything over again.
I don't know, to me it lacks interest because of the fact there really is no rp environment

Even though I do like andria/bc, I do have to agree with coldshadow. miriani is a pointless useless waste of time, and I'm very proud of myself for coming to that conclusion.
Besides the fact that bcs can be bought, for only $200 now, (talk to naryl henderson for info), they are trying to make a all peaches and cream environment.
We get newbs on there who don't know what rtfm means, or whine and sniffle because someone blew up their poor wittle ship, because they were talking shit.
The only thing that makes me mad, besides the newbs, which I'd just blow up, is the fact that I was booted out of my ship, at 4000 out, because again, they were enforcing the "peaches and cream environment." and making it where you can't steal ships. Most people complained, but yeah. pointless. Anyway, I've got a mud going, by the name of vertigo... if I ever decide to work on it.
Due to the lack of coders, I'm rather behind, so expect it out in 20050 when I'm dust, and some poor bored soul has picked it up from the ashes.
So, "miriani can fucking die." is a great way to sum up this post. and allo retriever, didn't know you were on. :) I never see ya anymore after I left miriani... ;_;

I loved miriani for a while, actually I was a bit of an addict. I'm the o so popular fralilin brown. by reading through the names, some of you didn't get to visit my popular airlock, so sad. Jessica was my partner in crime, stun and I'd strand.
Anyway, back to me being addicted.
It is fun, but with all the changes, rather pointless. I had all my cash, time, and effort into the three specialty ships I lost, and they just sorta disappeared, to make life honey and cream for the fucktards who lost their poor wittle ship.
It was also rather unbalanced. you'd think prox weapons and etc would be more points. the point system is kinda scruey.
The time it took to do a mission a long time ago, has almost doubled with no resulting award, as in extra points, etc.
I love godwars. I'm a level 160 demon on there, and love beating the hell out of things, though my choice of targets are rather limited at the moment. so yeah. godwarz ftw.
It's hard to get used to, but kicks ass. hell is also ok, but the lag is through the roof. 1 minute + to open a door is, scaryy.

Did it ever occur to you I simply don't take Miriani seriously? I play a girl because I think it's funny that I do such a poor job at it. I'm also not on the game looking for friends, a relationship etc so I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. Also unlike Cold Shadow/jerimiah osborn I don't talk shit and then delete when it turns out that I can't back up what I said. Next time think before spouting off about how good you are when you arn't shit cold shadow.

hey all, I wonder if someone can help me out, I've been trying to get on the mud but from what I assume I think my isp is banned, I emailed them and told them I haven't ever played and I've nto got anything back, now there is another mud that I tried to get on and the admins actually had to unblock my isp, so if anyone knows any one in high places can you help me?

Liam's got one somewhere, and kevin roberts is working on one. I think his is nearly complete. Also, to the person who asked about their IP being banned,fire an email to hosts@toastsoft.net and tell them your IP address. Derek said he did this, and they checked it and saw that they had had his IP blocked and unblocked it.

look on ooc/sound packs, they just put up a new pack for vip on sendspace.

I don't know VIP mud, too cheap to use it. But if you've installed the sound pack, it should run when you start Miriani? Unless something broked.
Depends on what sound pack she used. If she has Liam's crappy one, then se has to load a .set file. If she has the latest one from Isnomi, it willl start up automatically, as long as you followed the instructions.
